Vantor imagery is on Data Sphere

Data Sphere now supplies imagery from Vantor, formerly Maxar Intelligence, including WorldView imagery down to 30 cm.

Astro Dynamic has signed a reseller agreement with Vantor, the company formerly known as Maxar Intelligence, and Data Sphere now supplies Vantor’s imagery to its customers.

What Vantor brings

Vantor operates the WorldView constellation, which collects very-high-resolution optical imagery with detail down to 30 cm, and holds an archive that goes back more than twenty years.

For Data Sphere customers this means a second source of 30 cm imagery alongside Orbview. If one supplier cannot cover an area or a date, the other may, and because both arrive through the same API and the same STAC format, your code does not need to know which one answered.

How it works

Vantor imagery appears in Data Sphere searches like every other supplier’s, with its licence terms built into the platform’s permissions. If your agreement covers a given use, you see the imagery licensed for that use. If it does not, the platform does not offer it. That is how Data Sphere works for every supplier.

If you already search Data Sphere, you do not need to change anything to see Vantor’s imagery. If you would like to see it for an area you care about, write to us at info@astrodynamic.space.
